ECOSAND IMBX 0.4 – 0.8 mm It is a crystalline siliceous sand, specially selected and calibrated for applications in potable, industrial and process water filtration systems.
Produced in Angola under strict laboratory control, it features a high purity silica (SiO₂ ≥ 94.5%) and uniform particle size distribution, ensuring excellent particle retention capacity and low pressure drop.
Physical characteristics include effective diameter (D10) of 0.384 mm, uniformity coefficient of 1.51and apparent density of 1.37 g/cm³With a Mohs hardness of 7 and a moisture content of less than 5%, ECOSAND IMBX ensures mechanical strength and hydraulic stability.
The coating and controlled particle size distribution make this sand ideal for use as a primary filter medium or as a support layer in multi-stage filters.
