ECOSAND IMBX 0.8 – 1 mm It is a crystalline siliceous sand with exceptional properties for use in water filtration systems. Its silica-rich composition and controlled particle size ensure excellent technical performance.
Produced in the Luanda-Bengo Special Economic Zone, this sand has a silica (SiO₂) content of 94.51% and low levels of Fe₂O₃ (1,03%), Al₂O₃ (3,19%) and other elements, ensuring chemical stability and the absence of critical contaminants.
A particle size of 0.8 to 1 mm provides a uniform distribution, with effective diameter (D10) of 0.816 mm and uniformity coefficient of 1.14, contributing to greater filtration efficiency and lower pressure drop. A apparent density is 1.37 g/cm³ and humidity ≤5%.
