Manufactured in Angola under strict laboratory control, this sand has a chemical composition rich in silica (SiO₂) with 94.51%, low humidity (≤5%) and Mohs hardness of grade 7This combination offers an excellent chemical and mechanical stability, essential for long-duration operations.
Controlled particle size of 0.5 to 1 mm ensures D10 of 0.537 mm, D30 of 0.623 mm and D60 of 0.736 mm, with uniformity coefficient of 1.37. A apparent density is 1.34 g/cm³, optimizing filter performance.
Recommended for multi-stage filtration systems, this sand is suitable as a primary or intermediate layer, ensuring high particle retention efficiency and low pressure drop.
