ECOSAND IMBX 0.5 – 0.8 mm It is a high-quality siliceous sand, developed for demanding applications in the filtration of potable, industrial or process water.
Produced with rigorous laboratory control in AngolaIt has a content of silica (SiO₂) of 94.51%, low moisture content (≤5%) and Mohs hardness of grade 7, offering mechanical strength and chemical stability over time.
Controlled particle size between 0.5 and 0.8 mm ensures a effective diameter (D10) of 0.521 mm, with uniformity coefficient of 1.30 and apparent density of 1.37 g/cm³, providing excellent particle retention and low pressure drop in filtration systems.
It is recommended as a primary filter medium or transition layer in multi-stage systems, ensuring high hydraulic performance and operational durability.
